...if your organisation needs research, people strategy support, or training that's genuinely grounded in our sector, not adapted from somewhere else.

Expertise Not Leadership
You’re really good at your job and you’d like that to be enough.
You want to be taken seriously but have no interest in being the one in charge. You’re sceptical of ‘leadership’ courses and would like another option for professional development that isn’t centred around taking on a leadership role.
You’re not alone: most people in most organisations aren't, or don’t want to be, leaders and almost no further professional development was built with you in mind.
If this all sounds familiar, then this course is for you!

Good Endings
How people leave your organisation is not just a procedural matter for HR. It's a cultural choice.
Whose choice the ending is, and how it is handled, are themes that cut across all types of departure. From succession planning to exit processes, from retirement to resignation; from saying goodbye to long term service users, to Trustees standing down.
It's not only staff who leave: volunteers and service users will also experience how it feels to leave your organisation. And while redundancy can feel like the most emotionally charged ending, it is not the only one that deserves consideration at a governance level.
This workshop will help your team diagnose your organisation's current approach to endings and explore whether a different approach, consistent with your values, is needed.

Your Job: Love it or Leave it
A one-hour reflective session for people working in charities, nonprofits and social enterprises to explore your options.
If you’re feeling uncertain about your role or direction, this focused session helps you step back and make sense of where you are.
We’ll explore what’s working, what isn’t, and what needs to change, so you can decide your next step with clarity and confidence.

Fundraising for Trustees
Fundraising staff and Trustees are, in theory, on the same side.
In practice, they often operate with different assumptions, pressures, and ideas about what success looks like.
This session is less about teaching Trustees how to fundraise, and more about helping them understand the fundraising environment. They will learn more about how to empower their fundraisers: what they can do, from their position, to make a positive difference.

Solo Fundraiser Support
Are you a fundraiser working on your own? Maybe even part time. Your manager may not be a fundraiser, but they try to help.
Making decisions can be exhausting. Putting an action plan together can feel paralysing when there is so much to do, but so little time in the week.
I can help. I will work with you to provide practical guidance and support. From a half day of planning to monthly check-ins, we help build confidence in your decision-making.

Team Development
Working alongside each other effectively means understanding what each other needs to do their best work.
How your team works is shaped largely by the conditions you're operating in: the pressures, the assumptions, the things that don't get said. Exploring these things together is more useful in the long run than an away day activity.
This session will help you understand each others' needs and motivations more clearly, contributing to a better working environment in the future.

"Hannah is an utter joy to work with. She has an abundance of common sense, which we all know is not as common as the name would suggest. She's a really energetic and positive problem solver but doesn't shy away from hard truths or saying it as it is. Her breadth of practiced, lived, and learned experience is quite something, and she's generous with it all."
