I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a data controller.

What information I collect and why

I collect personal information in the following circumstances:

When you purchase a course or product: I collect your name and email address to send you booking confirmation, joining instructions, and course-related communications. Payment is processed by Stripe; I do not store your card details.

When you contact me: if you email me or complete a contact form, I keep a record of your name, email address, and the content of your message in order to respond to you.

When you subscribe to my Substack newsletter — your email address is held by Substack in accordance with their own privacy policy. I use it to send you People & Purpose marketing information and updates about my work.

What I do with your information

I use your personal information only for the purpose for which it was provided. I do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

I may share data with third-party service providers who help us operate our business — currently Stripe (payment processing) and Substack (newsletter). These providers are contractually required to handle your data securely and in accordance with UK data protection law.

How long I keep your information

I keep booking records for courses and sessions for six years in line with standard accounting requirements. General correspondence is kept for as long as it remains relevant and then deleted. You can ask me to delete your data at any time (see Your Rights below).

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• access the personal data I hold about you

• ask me to correct inaccurate data

• ask me to delete your data

• object to or restrict how I process your data

• withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your data, you have the right to complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
