Values and culture

The 'why' of your work is not just about your impact, it drives how you behave as an organisation. Your values drive your culture, which in turns drive how your people feel about their work.

We help you understand where you are now and where you want to be in future.

A practical, values-led review that helps charities, nonprofits and social purpose organisations understand where their pay sits against the Living Wage, identify risks and inconsistencies, and develop clear, financially realistic pathways to fairer pay.

Designed for organisations who want to support their people better, especially within tight budget constraints.

We work with your team and your Board to understand any current gaps between existing salaries and the Living Wage. We will propose realistic, costed pathways to move closer to fairer pay with recommendations for next steps.

Fair Pay & Living Wage Review

Ideally your values reflect your culture. But too often an organisation will have a list of values that are at odds with what people actually experience, or the behaviours that are encouraged day to day.

Values exist on a spectrum. An organisation might say it is "open and transparent", for example, but there is a huge difference between being fully open (everyone knows each others' salary, all reporting includes both the great and the ugly etc.) and slightly open.

My approach takes both of these things into account. It also encourages use of past examples and potential scenarios, so that value statements come to life and are of practical use.
