Not Leadership But Expertise

You’re really good at your job and you’d like that to be enough.

You want to be taken seriously but have no interest in being the one in charge. You’re sceptical of ‘leadership’ courses and would like another option for professional development that isn’t centred around taking on a leadership role.

This course is for you!

Over four weeks we will explore:

  • why leadership is considered the ultimate ambition for capable people and why that doesn’t have to be the case,

  • your identity as a professional,

  • what motivates you personally and professionally,

  • how to communicate your needs in a way that people are more likely to understand

  • potential next steps, depending on your situation.

You will leave with a clearer understanding of what you actually want, and a more honest account of whether your current situation can give it to you.

Course structure: Four 50-minute live sessions over four weeks, with prompts for reflection in between.

Pilot offer: £109

In exchange, I ask for honest feedback on the session and its outputs, which will inform the development of the programme. People taking part in the pilot get early access at a reduced rate and direct input into shaping what 'Not Leadership But Expertise' becomes.
